About me
Hi, my name is Louise and I opened The DogBarber in 2023. With over 20 years' experience in professional dog grooming, I still love what I do just as much as when I started.
During my time working in other salons, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working with a wide variety of breeds. I'm also proud to have won Groomer of the Year within my previous company.
I hold a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming, I'm trained in canine first aid and fully insured, giving you peace of mind that your dog is in experienced and caring hands.
About The Salon
From my experience, dogs benefit from a calm, quiet environment, which is why I offer exclusively one-to-one grooming from my home-based salon. Your dog receives my undivided attention throughout their visit, with no other dogs being groomed alongside them.
The salon is fully air-conditioning to help keep your dog comfortable whatever the weather, and features specialist non-slip flooring designed with canine comfort and stability in mind, particularly for senior dogs and those with mobility difficulties.
I also use a professional Hydrobath Pro, which helps deliver a thorough, deep-cleaning wash by working water through the coat to help remove dirt and loose hair, leaving your dog's coat clean and refreshed.
